Validations ASN.1 Parent Types

The air interface rate requested by the user.  This item may be used to show the rate requested at call setup or any modifications to this rate requested during the call.

Derivation:

Bearer Capability Element, octet 6t, (GSM 04.08).  The value is derived by interpreting the 4 least significant bits of octet 6t as a binary number and converting it into an integer.

Conditionality:

Must be present within groups

                                HSCSD Parameter Modification

where non-transparent bearer services are used and the information is available and applicable, i.e. not zero (0).
