Validations ASN.1 Parent Types

The Electronic Serial Number.  The identifier which uniquely identifies the equipment used by the subscriber during the call.

This is a non GSM equipment identifier.

Derivation:

CIBER manual v2.0 section 12.

Conditionality:

Must be present within group Equipment Identifier where available.  Will not be present where the terminal equipment is not involved in the call e.g. in forwarded call cases or the mobile equipment is identified by an IMEI.
