Validations ASN.1 Parent Types

The preferred speech version supported by the mobile station as indicated by the terminal equipment at call set up.

Derivation:

GSM item speechVersionSupported, an instance of SpeechVersionIdentifier (GSM 12.05).

Encoded by interpreting the 7 bit number given in TS GSM 08.08 as an integer.

Conditionality:

Must be present within group Basic Service where the speech version has been indicated by the terminal equipment at call set up and available from the network.

Values:

                1              GSM speech full rate version 1

                5              GSM speech half rate version 1

                17           GSM speech full rate version 2 (Enhanced Full Rate)

                21           GSM speech half rate version 2 (for future use)

                33           GSM speech full rate version 3 (for future use)

                37           GSM speech half rate version 3 (for future use)
